Outlook 2003 Email Account Setup for Cox Internet Services.

The following steps will walk you through configuring you email clients existing setup to work through Cox Communications.

Step 1:

Open Outlook 2003. Select the Tools Menu > E-mail Accounts option.

Step 2:

Select "View of change existing email accounts" > Click Next.

Step 3:

Click to highlight your mail account in the account list box > Click Change.

Step 4:

Click the More Settings button in the lower right corner.

Step 5:

Click the Advanced tab, and change the outgoing (SMTP) port number to "587".

Click OK > Next > and Finish. You're Done!
